The Spanish Oral Microbiology Network (REMORA) was co-founded during the PI’s doctoral research as an early scientific networking initiative to promote collaboration, training and knowledge exchange in oral microbiology.The network contributed to strengthening national research capacity and fostering interdisciplinary connections among researchers working on oral microbial ecology.

This early leadership experience in community building and network development informs HORMOBIOME’s current approach to interdisciplinary research, scientific culture and collaborative hormone–microbiome science, without defining its present research focus.
