Public Outreach on Menopause, Hormones, and Microbiome Health

Updated: Dec 24, 2025

Period: 2024–2025

This outreach activity is part of HORMOBIOME’s strategic engagement efforts to strengthen scientific literacy in menopause-related hormone–microbiome interactions. It focuses on translating research-based evidence on estrogen decline and microbiome restructuring into accessible knowledge, fostering informed dialogue around oral and systemic health during menopause.

By addressing historically underrepresented aspects of women’s health research, these activities contribute to building societal awareness, trust in microbiome science and a more inclusive scientific culture around menopause and aging.
