Science Communication through Café con Ciencia

Participation as a scientific speaker in Café con Ciencia initiatives, organized by the University of Seville as part of its institutional science communication programme.These activities take the form of small-group, informal scientific breakfasts with secondary and high-school students, designed to foster direct, bidirectional dialogue between researchers and young audiences in a non-hierarchical setting.

Through conversation-based formats, HORMOBIOME contributes to accessible discussion of microbiome research, hormone–microbiome interactions, women’s health and oral health, while also addressing the realities of scientific careers and research practice. These initiatives promote scientific literacy, critical thinking and early engagement with science, without delivering clinical guidance or interventions.
